Cit� o� ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> • NO. 1177 <br /> • - • • <br /> DETERMINING THAT SANITARY SEWER SERVICE P7ILL NOT BE <br /> PROVIDED TO THE PROPERTY AT 480 ORONO ORCHARD ROAD <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sewer Project 80-1 was initiated by the City to solve <br /> existing on-site sewage treatment problems in the Minnetonka Bluffs-�aest <br /> Ferndale area, near which the property at 480 Orono Orchard Road is <br /> located; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property located at 480 Orono Orchard Road contains <br /> approximately 15 acres of dry land according to all information available <br /> to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS , it is likely that future on-site sewage treatment <br /> problems at 480 Orono Orchard Road can be solved through the use of on- <br /> site sewage treatment systems, and therefore the property has been <br /> considered for inclusion in the 80-1 project at the option of the <br /> owner; and <br /> ��7HEREAS , the owner of said property has indicated a preference <br /> to have the property excluded from the project, <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br /> Orono, that the property at 480 Orono Orchard Road will not be served by <br /> the 80-1 sewer project. No sewer service stub will be provided to the <br /> property and this property may not hook up to the public sanitary sewer <br /> in the future. Therefore there is no benefit to the property from the <br /> construction of the sewer. Future on-site sewage treatment problems on <br /> the property will be solved through repair, reconstruction or replacement <br /> of the existing on-site system. <br /> Adopted by the Ci.ty Council of the City of O no on the 11 <br /> day of August , 1980. <br /> William B.
