Property I D. 20-117-23 11 0023 <br />To: Orono Local Board of Review <br />We wish to_protest the valuation that has been placed on our home for <br />the Tax Year 199/ Since we purchased the house in 1994, the Estimated <br />Market Value placed on the property has been increased by 36 percent (over the <br />two year period) and the Taxable Market Value has increased by 21 percent <br />excluding the improvements made to the property This does not lake into <br />period”* ''1 •f'e extremely high local marginal fax rates during this <br />We are particularly concerned because the system being used to set <br />these valuations i.s based on real estate market conditions that are boyond our <br />control and at the rate increases are being piled on us. we could be forced out <br />of our home because of an unsustainable tax burden.
