RESOLUTION # 1147 <br /> A RESOLUT�ON TO CLOSE THE LIQUOR STORE FUND CHECKING ACCOUNT <br /> TO THE GENERAi� CHECKING ACCOUNT. <br /> WHEREAS, The City has established a separate and <br /> distinct bank account for the receipt and disbursement of monies . <br /> received from the City owned and operated liquor store; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has also established a separate <br /> and distinct fund within its books and records to account for <br /> the receipt and disbursement of the monies received from the said <br /> liquor store; and <br /> WHEREAS, the maintenance of a separate bank account <br /> is not necessary and complicates accounting; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Treasurer <br /> is hereby authorized and directed to close the Liquor Store Fund <br /> checking account to the General checking account on or before <br /> June 1, 1980; and is also directed and ordered to continue the sep- <br /> arate fund necessary to account for the monies received from said <br /> liquor store. <br /> Adopted by the City Cauncil of the City of Orono, <br /> Minnesota at a regular meetirig held on May -12 , 1980. <br /> � <br /> �� <br /> William B.
