1) Installation, repair, and sealing of unconventional wells such as <br />dewatering wells, dug wells, and drive-point wells. <br />2) Repair of well screens or well casings. <br />3) Well sealing. <br />4) Well pump installation or repair. <br />Under the old well law, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 156A, a limited <br />license was granted for well repair and installation of <br />unconventional wells. These licenses are still recognized. <br />Effective July 1, 1990, a license is required for elevator shaft <br />contractors to excavate holes for the installation of elevator shafts <br />and hydraulic cylinders for elevator shafts.
