CITY <br />OF <br />ORONO <br />City of OROINO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. _________________ <br />REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX <br />FORFEIT LANDS FOR PUBLIC USE <br />BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of :he State of Minnesota; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, the City has <br />received from Hennepin County a list of lands within the City <br />which have become the property of the State of Minnesota for non­ <br />payment of real estate taxes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners have <br />classified said lands as non-conservation land and have <br />authorized the sale of each such parcel of land subject to review <br />and release by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for <br />compliance with local zoning ordinances, for the amount of <br />oul tanding special assessments remaining unpaid to the City, <br />and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the <br />statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 282.01, <br />Subdivision 1, hereby applies to the Hennepin County Board of <br />Commissioners and to the Commissioner of Revenue for conveyance <br />of the following tax forfeited land to the City for dr linage and <br />conservation purposes. <br />PARCEL RETAINED FOR USE BY THE CITY <br />District p.l.D, Public Purpose Specials <br />38 03-117-23 33 0001 Drainage & Conservation Nc <br />38 05-117-23 24 0105 Drainage & Conservation No. - <br />38 35-118 23 41 0010 Drainage & Conservation None <br />38 36-118-23 33 0016 Drainage & Conservation None <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minneiioia ^»t a regular meeting held the 8th day of January, 1990, <br />by a vote of __ ayes and _ _ nays. <br />ATTEST:James R.
