Proposed Resolution Conveyance of Tax Forfeit <br />Lands for Public Use by the City of Orono <br />ISSUE - Adoption of resolutions for Hennepin County indicating <br />City of Orono's desire regarding tax forfeited properties. <br />INTRODUCTION - As noted in Attachment A the City of Orono must <br />indicate their desired settlement of these tax forfeited parcels. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the attached resolutions <br />be passed as presented. <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Mark E. Bernhardson, City Administrato <br />Forwarded recommending approval. <br />The two recommended for public sale (Parcels A & B) are lots in <br />the Crystal Bay area which are to be legally combined for sale. <br />Of the four parcela to be retained; <br />Parcels C and D are either part of Lake Minnetonka or wetlands <br />adjacent to it. <br />Parcel E is a parcel that is substantially wet in a normal year. <br />Parcel F is also partially wet and is appropriate to retain at <br />this time. If deemed appropriate any of these can be released in <br />the future. None of these last four have any assessments pending <br />against them. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that the Council <br />adopt resolution t__ releasing tax forfeit parcel for public sale <br />and resolution #__ requesting conveyance of parcel for public use <br />by the City of oFono.
