Ross, Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #279 <br />A RESOLUTION OPPOSING A BILL KNOWN AS THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT BILL <br />.`BY CREATING THE SOUTHWEST SANITARY SEWER DISTR•ICT':AND INCLUDING THE <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />•WHER'EA`S a Bill known as the Conservation District'Bill creating the <br />Southwest'Sanitary Sewer District and.including the Village of Orono <br />has been proposed. <br />IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED__by the VillagelCouncii of the Village of Orono <br />that•.at•-this time it is against such a Bill With -.the following quali- <br />fications:, <br />1. •It .is presently studying this proposal as well as other <br />courses _of -,action which may prove -to b -e most beneficial to the Village <br />of Orono and the Lake area in general. <br />r 2 It has not had available adequate cost estimates from <br />the So uthwest.Sanitary Sewer District to be able to reach any <br />conclusions'°arid must .develop such costs for this as well as alternate <br />courses• of action. <br />3,.
