RESOLUTION #26.5 <br />t <br />A RESOLUTION.REQUESTING A HEARING BY THE MINNESOTA PUBLIC SERVICE <br />COMMISSION ON THE MATTER OF THE INSTALLATION OF ADDITION <br />AT THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILROAD MAINLINE CROSSING OF STUBBS BAY ROAD IN <br />THE VILLAGR OF ORONO <br />WHEREAS, theOrono School District #278 has petitioned for the instal- <br />lation of crossing.arms at the .Great.Northern Railroad Mainline cross- <br />ing of Stubbs Bay Road due to the recent traffic fatality and the <br />potential hazard to school busses using the crossing, <br />THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED,.That the Minnesota Public Service <br />Commission is requested to investigate the matter, hold a'hearing, and <br />order such additional protection for the crossing as fnyy be necessary. <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at <br />a regular meeting held October 14, 1968. <br />Attest: <br />Frank Mixa, Clerk-Admiiiistrator <br />Ross, Mayor <br />
