RESOLUTION #263 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT <br />1968SL-1 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, •y` <br />k. Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. The amount proper.and necessary to be sp-ecially assessed <br />at this time for the Street Lighting Improvement 1968SL-1, (said improve <br />Ment for convenience has been designated on the assessment roll as <br />Street.Lighting.,68SL-1) against every assessable lot, piece or parcel <br />of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon the basis of <br />benefitswithout regard..to cash valuation,.in accordance with the <br />, <br />provisions of Minnes,ota Statut.es,•Chapter 429, and notice has been <br />duly published, as required by law, that this Council would meet to <br />hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if any, and said proposed <br />assessment.roll.has at,all times since its filing been open for public <br />inspection, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons <br />their objections, if any, to such proposed assessments. <br />2. This Council, having heard..and considered all objections <br />so pr.esented,.and being fully advised' in the premises, finds that each <br />of the lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed <br />assessment roll.was and is specially benefited by the installation andj <br />Maintenance of said improvement in not less than the amount of the r, <br />assessment set opposite .the descripti-on- of each such l,ot, piece and <br />parcel of land, respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby` <br />levied against each of'the respective lots, pieces and parcel s. of land a, <br />therein described. <br />. i <br />3. The proposed assessments -are hereby adopted and confirmed <br />as the proper special assessments for each of said lots, pieces,.and-- <br />inst each -parcel, <br />parcels of land respectively, -and the assessment aga <br />shall-be.a lien concurrent with general taxes upon such parcel and all <br />thereof.
