__ ^1 <br />I <br />1 < r r <br />V-.. i <br />‘ij <br />city of OROINO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2032 <br />- - -ti <br />A RBSOLOTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MONICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br />PILE 11051 <br />WHEREAS, Ronald Glesne (hereinafter "the applicant") is the o%mer <br />of the property located at 1475 Cherry Place within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Lots 8 and 9, and that part of Lot 7, lying Southerly of a line <br />hereinafter referred to as "Line A" drawn Westerly from the midpoint <br />of the Easterly line of said Lot 7 through the midpoint of the <br />Westerly line of said Lot 7, BlocJc 5, "Crystal Bay View", togetl'er <br />with that portion of the Westerly half of Cherry Avenue vacated lying <br />Southerly of the Easterly extension of said "Line A", and Nor»*herly of <br />a line drawn from the Southeast corner of said Lot 9 Easter:. / to the <br />Southwest corner of Lot 9, BlocJc 4, All in "Crystal View", <br />according to the map or plat thereof on file or of record in the <br />office of the Register of Deeds in “nd for said Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota, ALSO, the South 125 feet oi nhe North 250 feet of the South <br />1074.7 feet of that part of Government Lot 5, Section 7, Township 117, <br />Range 23 which lies Easterly of the center line of the County Road as <br />now opened and traveled near the East line of said Section 7 and as <br />shown on the plat of Highwood, Lalce Minneton)ca, (hereinafter "the <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to <br />Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit the <br />construction of a residence on a property containing 0.64 acres where 1.0 <br />acres is normally required, and of width 125 feet where 140 feet width is <br />normally required. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />1. <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1051. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lalceshore <br />Residential Zoning District. <br />3.
