CITY <br />OF <br />ORONO <br />City of OROINO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1314_ _ _ _ <br />TAX FORFEITED LANDS RELEASED <br />FOR PUBLIC SALE <br />IvHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporations <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, the City has <br />received from Hennepin County a list of lards within the City which <br />have become the property of the State of Minnesota for non-payment <br />of real estate taxes; and <br />WTiEREAS, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners have <br />classified said lands as non-conservation land and have authorized <br />the sale of each such parcel of land subject to review and release <br />by the City; and <br />VTHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for <br />compliance with local zoning ordinances, for the amount of outstanding <br />special assessments remaining unpaid to the City, and/or for possible <br />public use by the City as authorized by the Statutes. <br />NOW, THEP3F0P3 BE IT RESOL\^D that the City Council of the <br />City cf Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282, hereby approves <br />the classification of each of the following parcels of land as non- <br />conservation land, and furthermore, approves the public sale of e&ch <br />parcel cf land as listed below. <br />Release of these lands by the City Council does not con­ <br />stitute an assurance that each parcel is or will be approved as a <br />building site. All parcels remain subject to all applicable zoning <br />ordinance provisions, including those regulations providing for <br />minimum lot area and minimum lot width. Substandard parcels may be <br />useable only in combination with other ad3oining parcel(s). <br />Release of these lands by the City Council is subject to <br />the condition that all outstanding special assessments shall be paid <br />in full to the City upon return to private ownership.
