Summary of experience background: <br />June 1981 - Jan 1986: City of Maple Grove - Engineering Department <br />Jan 1986 - Present: Merila & Associates, Inc. <br />Consulting Engineers, Surveyors and Land Planners <br />3. what interested you about service on the Task Force: <br />It is a way of serving my community which has been my goal since I first <br />moved here. <br />4. What concepts, if any, do you have on issues related to the <br />location of an upgraded Highway 12: <br />At this point, I do not feel that I have sufficient information to have <br />formulated a concept relating to location. However, I believe that the <br />impact of the roadway on the natural environment is afleast as critical as <br />the impact on existing businesses, homes and recreational facilities. <br />The latter can be replaced, a forest or wetland cannot. <br />5. Any other pertinent ^information: <br />I believe that since my home will not be directly impacted, I will be able <br />to be totally unbiased during the reviews. <br />6. When would you usually be available to attend meetings: <br />Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday <br />A.M. Early P.M. Evening ..snc <br />I am available any day of the week at anytime, although evenings <br />preferable .
