CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7547 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono can accept donations for the benefit of its residents (Minnesota <br />Statutes § 465.03 et seq.); and <br />WHEREAS, Align Health and Wellness has offered to donate $200 towards tree lighting event <br />expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, the donation has been offered to Orono for the benefit of its residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to accept the donation. <br />NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully accepts the <br />donation. <br />FURTHER, staff will issue a letter to the donor acknowledging receipt of the donation and <br />expressing appreciation. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on December 9, 2024. <br />ATTEST:CITY OF ORONO <br />_____________________________________________________________________ <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />27
