CITY <br />OF <br />ORONO <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 198b <br />A RESOLUTIOH ORDBRIHG ABATBMBMT <br />OP HAZARDOUS BOILDIHG ACTION AT <br />2941 Casco Point Rd« Orono <br />WBBRBASf the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br />and. <br />WBBRBASfPaul Christy, 2941 Casco Point Rd, Wayzata, <br />Minnesota, 55391; is the fee owner of record of property located <br />at 2941 Casco Point Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as <br />the Property, and legally described as follows: <br />Spring Park, Lot 92 and the South Easterly 30ft of Lot 93 <br />Also the South Easterly 30ft of Lot 104 <br />P.I.D. #20-117-23-31-0047 <br />NHBRBA8, the City Council of the City of Orono, having <br />duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br />Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br />property is uninhabitaole and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br />conditions ^hich constitute a public nuisance and which makes <br />this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare <br />based on the following findings: <br />1. Roof cavoed in. <br />2. Rafter rotten. <br />3. Elect, not hooked up - but improper wiring. <br />4. Cone block wall caving in on two sides - (north k west) <br />5. Building left open to public. <br />6. Building is in a state of deterioration and <br />dilapidation, thus It is a saftey and health hazard pursuant <br />to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br />Section 203. <br />6. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by <br />the Building Official on February 3. 1986. These orders have <br />not been cranplled with. <br />Page 1 of 2
