Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />2. City of Deephaven Environmental Assessment WorKsheet (EAW) <br />The Executive Director reported the MN DNR comments on the <br />EAW submitted as a part of the review of a new dock license for <br />the City of Deephaven. Reese questioned the MN DNR comment that <br />no treated lumber is to be used that would contaminate fish or <br />other aquatic organisms. He would like further rationale for the <br />restriction. The MN DNR also recommends the LMCD consider <br />developing a long-range plan for dock expansions. The committee <br />would like a more detailed explanation of that recommendation. <br />Foster moved, Lewman seconded, to recommend that an <br />Environmental Impact Statement is net needed, to recommend <br />approval of the Findings of Fact and Conclusion as submitted by <br />the Executive Director and approval of the new dock license and <br />special density license for the City of Deephaven. Motion <br />approved unanimously. <br />3. Special Density License Ordinance Relating to <br />Amenities. <br />Public <br />The Executive Director presented the amendment to LMCD Code <br />Sec. 2.05, Subd. 4b relating to public amenities. Changes are <br />underlined. <br />Foster stated he could not vote for this amendment until <br />there is an evaluation of the effect on multiple dock licenses <br />which have been granted special density allowance in exchange for <br />various public amenities. <br />Foster moved, Lewman seconded, to table the special density <br />license ordinance amendment until the committee receives examples <br />of how the change in amenities would affect recent multiple dock <br />licenses. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Dock License Renewals <br />Reese moved, Lewman seconded, To recommend approval of dock <br />license renewals for the following: <br />Crystal Bay Service, Crystal Bay, Orono <br />Harrison Harbor, Harrison Bay, Mound <br />Seton Twin Homes, Mound <br />Harrison Harbor is being back licensea lor 1989. [lat-?- fn^is <br />are included for the renewals with Seton Twin Homes beii.ti <br />credited for the $25 fee they paid earlier when low water <br />prevented the use of the docks. Motion carried unanimously.
