LMCD Board of Directors June 27, 1990 <br />5. C. Standing Committees <br />1) WATER STRUCTURES, Chair Grathwol <br />Grathwoi reported there are no minutes as the <br />Committee did not meet in June. <br />a) Temporary Dock Extension Requests. <br />Grathwol moved, Hurr seconded, approval <br />following temporary dock extensions: <br />of the <br />Hary T. Kreslins, Greenwood, St. Alban's Bay, for 8’ <br />St. Alban's Bay Marina, Inc., four foot dock platform for <br />gas dock access from boats. <br />Shorewood Marina & Yacht Club, Inc., eight foot dock <br />platform for gas dock access from boats. <br />Tonka Bay Marina & Yacht Club, Inc., four foot dock <br />platform for gas dock access from boats <br />There is no navigation <br />carried unanimously. <br />interference involved.Motion <br />2) LAKE USE COMMITTEE, Chair Pillsbury <br />a) Minutes. Reese moved, Grathwol seconded, <br />approval of the minutes of the Lake Use Committee meeting of June <br />18, 1990. Motion carried unanimously. <br />b) Wayzata Chamber of Commerce - <br />Permit - July 4 Fireworks <br />Special Event <br />Pillsbury moved, Foster seconded, approval of Special Event <br />Permit to allow the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce to present a July <br />4 fireworks display in Wayzata Bay from a barge, maintaining <br />1,000’ clearance to and from spectators, subject to approval by <br />the Citv of Wayzata, Water Patrol and other applicable laws. <br />Motion Ccrried unanimously. <br />The Executive Director noted Water Patrol approval is still <br />pending. <br />c) Deposit Refunds <br />Pillsbury moved, Foster seconded, to approve refunds of the <br />Special Event deposit to Westonka M.D.A. fishing contest, no <br />incidents reported and to Lord Fletcher’s, the special event <br />Canoe Race application denied by the Board. Motion carried <br />unanimously.
