WAYjZATA- MINN. 55391 <br />)[niniscio^^ij <br />JUN 8 1990 <br />Allan Often <br />City Manager <br />June 1, 1990 <br />Mayor James Grabek <br />City of Orono <br />Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Dear Mayor Grabek: <br />Thank you for the opportunity of appearing before the Council <br />last Tuesday evening to informally present our proposed plans <br />for a public works facility. <br />We did rot expect support or approval of the proposed plans <br />at this fxrst meeting, but also did not anticipate a nine- <br />month moratorium. <br />Our intent was to present the options available for <br />development of the site and with direction and input from <br />your Council develop a facility that would benefit both <br />communities. <br />Generally, an actual visit to a site provides a feel for the <br />lay of the land, thus resulting in an even better exchange of <br />xdeas and information to assist in the decision-making <br />process. We would be more than happy to arrange a tour of <br />the site to point out property lines, proposed building <br />locations, and respond to any ques' .ons or concerns you or <br />the Council may have.
