Date: November 18, 2024 Item: 5.5 <br />Presenter: Matt Karney, Planner <br />Section: Public Hearings <br /> <br />Title: LA24-000060, TVL Studios, 755 Tonkawa Rd, Conditional Use Permit for <br />Retaining Walls (Matthew Karney) <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The applicant requests a conditional use permit to construct new and replacement retaining walls <br />as a part of a deck replacement within 75 feet of the OHWL. <br />2.MN§15.99 Application Deadline: <br />The application was made on October 23, 2024, and deemed complete on November 5, 2024. <br />Following the 60-day review period, the application expires on January 4, 2025. <br />3.Background: <br />The applicant proposes a replacement of an existing, non-conforming deck and set of retaining <br />walls with a new deck and retaining wall structure. Per the applicant, the existing deck and <br />retaining wall system was built with the existing residence in the 1960s, and is in declining <br />condition.
