Photo taken from the <br />southern end of Wetland 1 facing south. At the time of the surveys in November 2023 and April <br />2024, water was observed flowing through the channel. Channel 1 has a double culvert located <br />within the southern 1/3 of its length which has allowed for accessing the land east of the channel. <br />this wetland as a PEM1C wetland. The MN DNR Public Waters Inventory does not map any public <br />waters where Wetland 2 is located. <br />Wetland 3 <br />MnRAM: Preserve <br />Wetland 3 is a Type 3 (PEMC; Shallow Marsh) wetland located within the far eastern part of the <br />survey area and is approximately 1.80-acres in area within the site. This wetland extends off-site to <br />the south and east as a similar type wetland with an excavated open water channel. The emergent <br />part of this wetland is dominated by cattail with reed canary grass, bluejoint, and lake sedge. Located <br />in the southeastern corner of this wetland is an excavated open water area of the north arm to Lake <br />Minnetonka that allows boats to navigate to the lake and dock. The DNR updated National Wetlands <br />Inventory (June, 2013) maps this wetland as a PFO1A, PEM1C, L2ABH wetland complex.
