Sight <br />lines are open on all but the southeast corner of the intersection where a <br />business sign structure presents a slight obstruction. <br />Proposed Work <br />The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to reconstruct Wayzata Blvd <br />and add dedicated turn lanes from a point just east of Old Crystal Bay Road to <br />a point in downtown Long Lake just west of Lake Street. The work will be done <br />under S.P. 2713-61 (T.H. 12). In conjunction with that work, Mn/DOT is also <br />planning to signalize the intersection in anticipation that traffic increases <br />due to planned development will make the signal fully warranted by the time of <br />construction. Project funding for the roadway portion of the project will be <br />100 percent State funds. Funding for the signal portion of the project will <br />be 50 percent State funds, 25 percent City of Long Lake funds, and 25 percent <br />City of Orono funds.
