The major <br />concern for this review is the drainage issue and the impact on the <br />existing drainage facility to the north, resulting from the development of <br />this property. <br />Prior to the applicants surveyor providing an amended plan it would be <br />appropriate that you provide direction regarding the following: <br />1.Design of underground drainage tile within northern property and <br />the potential impact of this lot in a developed state. What kinds of <br />information must applicants consultant provide. <br />2.Are there drainage contol methods applicable for single family <br />development. Owner cannot legally send runoff to catch basin to north <br />west as it is located within private property. <br />3.What is your concern if owner to the north has agreed to grant <br />drainage easement over underground tile area. Is it necessary for the <br />owner of the subject property to dedicate additional area for the <br />draiange easement. <br />As I will be out of town through April 2, 1990, I would ask that you <br />copy your response to the City and also to Michael Hilbelink at 85 Golden <br />View Drive, Long Lake, MN 55356. It is the intention of the applicant to <br />proceed to the next Planning Commission meeting in April.
