'V', <br />llU an <br />A RESOLUTION OF RECOGNITION OF <br />EDWARD C. BROWN'S VOLUNTEER SERVICE <br />ON THE CITY OF ORONO'S PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Edward C. Brown served on the City's Planning <br />Commission from Febraury 23, 1987 to December 31, 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the quality of the community is very dependent <br />on the City's excellence and its land use management; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Planning Commission is an integral <br />part of the community's excellent land use management; and <br />WHEREAS, Ed in his service to the community on the <br />Planning Commission did excellent work and exhibited his <br />dedication and knowledge in the application of the municipal <br />codes to various applications; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono likes to take the opportunity <br />to recognize individuals with such loyality and dedication. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Orono <br />gives this resolution of appreciation to Edward C. Brown in honor <br />of his years of service to the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Orono; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this token of gratitude is <br />given to Edward C. Brown by the Council on behalf of all the <br />citizens of this community. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a <br />regular meeting held June 11, 1990. <br />James R.
