In a sense the rules are analogous to the rules for a private <br />owner petitioning to switch from one community to another, with <br />each being very protective of its own "borders". <br />interested in having the <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1.Determine if Wright Hennepin is <br />balance of Orono transferred to NSP. <br />2.Determine if property owners are. <br />3.Choose to take no action. <br />4.Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that apart from a letter to <br />Wriglit Hennepin to determine if there is interest to switch for <br />those property owners who are interested in switching, it would <br />probably not be the City's role nor appropriate at the time to <br />pursue that matter further. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by that Council <br />direct staff to draft a letter to Wright Hennepin to determine if <br />there is interest on their part in pursuing the matter further. <br />Ayes _, Nays _.
