LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />Regular Meeting, 7:30 p.m., April 25, 1990 <br />Tonka Bay City Hall <br />1. Call to Order. <br />Cochran at 7:30 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair <br />Members Present: Marvin Bjorlin, Tonka Bay; Jan Boswinkel, <br />Secretary, Minnetonka Beach; David Cochran, Chair, Greenwood; <br />James Grathwol, Excelsior; JoEllen Hurr, Orono (as noted); <br />Douglas Babcock, Spring Park; John Lewman, Treasurer, <br />Minnetrista; Thomas Martinson, Wayzata,(as noted); Robert <br />Pillsbury, Minnetonka; Thomas Reese, Mound; Robert Slocum, <br />Woodland. Also present: Charles LeFevere, LMCP Counsel; Sgt. <br />Wm. Chandler, Sheriff’s Water Patrol; Eugene Stromraen, Executive <br />Director. , t i_ Members Absent: Bert Foster, Vice Chair, Deephaven; John <br />Malinka, Victoria; Robert Rascop, Shorewood. <br />3. Reading of Minutes: Grathwol moved, Lewman seconded, <br />approval of the minutes of the March 28, 1990 regular meeting as <br />submitted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4 Public Comments. Charles Timberg, 5060 Minneapolis Avenue, <br />Mound, asked to be heard when the personal watercraft ordinance <br />is discussed and was informed he will be called upon. <br />5. Reports <br />Martinson arrived. <br />A. Chair Cochran <br />1) DNR Shoreland Grant Contract <br />The Board received the Shoreland Grant Agreement between <br />the MN DNR and LMCD. Cochran reported the agreement has now been <br />separated into two documents, the management plan partial fund <br />reimbursement and shoreland rules adoption reimbursement. The <br />management plan partial reimbursement segment is presented at <br />this time incorporating the changes recommended by the LMCD <br />* Bjorlin moved, Pillsbury seconded, to authorize the Chair <br />and the Executive Director to execute both agreements upon review <br />and to proceed with the execution of the shoreland rules adoption <br />reimbursement agreement with the fourteen cities. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Hurr arrived. _ . „2) Management Plan Public Review Procedures. <br />Cochran reported arrangements have been made to hold the <br />public hearings on the Management Program public review draft <br />- continued
