PLAN FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM <br />PROPOSED SCHOOL BOARD POLICY <br />April 9.1990 <br />The School Board is fully committed to the values of gender-fairness; to respect <br />for social, cultural and racial diversity; and to a positive emphasis on the abilities <br />of individuals. <br />Therefore, the School Board affirms its intention to provide equal educational <br />opportunities to all students attending Orono School District regardless of gender, <br />race, or capacity. As a result, administration will work with staff and community to <br />develop and monitor a written plan which assures that District curriculum and <br />instructional practices reflect an inclusive educational program.
