Bernhardson, City Administrato' <br />DATE: May 21, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Highway 12 - Corridor Meeting <br />\ <br />COUNCIL MESTIN6 <br />OF oifQifQ <br />ISSUE - Presentation to the Council of an update of the upcoming <br />Corridor Selection Policy meeting. <br />INTRODUCTION - The meeting that was originally slated for the <br />Policy meeting on May 23, 1990 has been subsequently changed <br />given the fact that the consultant Larry Dallam is not officially <br />on board and prepared to have that initial meeting. <br />It should also be noted that the Technical Committee meeting <br />originally slated for May 15, 1990 was cancelled. <br />DISCUSSION - It is expected that a joint meeting of the two <br />groups will be held either the week of 6/4 or 6/11. While <br />initial indications for the Policy meeting were that there might <br />be aerial photos in which the Committee would start designating <br />alternatives, it is expected that the meeting will be a review of <br />the process and the ground rules by the consultant. It is <br />expected this would put development of alternative corridors by <br />the Policy Committee to be two to three months out. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Accept the information. <br />2. Table for further discussion. <br />3. Take no action. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council accept the <br />information and take no action at this time. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that Council <br />accept the information as presented and take no action at this <br />time.
