In mv application for variance, only the footprint of the proposed <br />garage was submitted. No plans or elevations were included. The existing house has a roof <br />pitch of about jIVL I would request that the garage roof have pitch of 8/12. This would <br />make the peak of the garage about three feet higher than the house peak. My reasons for <br />this are: <br />8/12 roof trusses are standard stock trusses. At the place I called, I was informed <br />that 5/12 trusses are not. <br />2.I minimized the square foot area of the garage because of my hard cover condition. <br />This makes for less storage space in the garage. A 5/12 pitched roof docs not allow <br />for much storage, and the low roof profile makes access to the attic difficult. <br />I request that you consider my proposal for a garage with an 8/12 pitched roof.
