CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7523 <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO EMPLOYEE SCOTT OBERAIGNER <br />FOR THIRTY-FOUR YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br />WHEREAS, Scott Oberaigner was appointed as a Public Works Maintenance Worker on <br />October 22, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott has for 34 years expertly maintained the city’s streets, sanitary sewers, water <br />systems, storm sewers and parks; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott was appointed interim Utilities Supervisor on October 1, 2003; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott was appointed Utilities Supervisor on March 14, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott’s service has been characterized by his dedication, knowledge “can do” <br />spirit; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott has developed and displayed outstanding technical skills in the execution of his <br />duties; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott set the example for his fellow public servants with his positive attitude, and <br />service focus; and <br />WHEREAS,Scott Oberaigner 33 years and 11 months of service have been characterized by his <br />dedication to providing the highest quality service to the city and its residents; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council, staff, and residents <br />wish to extend their utmost appreciation and gratitude to Scott Oberaigner for his service to the <br />community as a Public Works Maintenance Utilities Supervisor. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held October 28, 2024. <br />ATTEST:CITY OF ORONO <br />______________________________________________________ <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />81
