March 29, 1990 <br />Mr. Phil Bradley, Chair <br />Park Commission Members <br />City of Orono <br />mar 3 0 1990 <br />I would like to submit my name in nomination for the Park <br />Commission opening. 1 believe that Orono needs thoughtful <br />planning in order to develop its park system and I feel that <br />I have both the interest and requisite skills to assist with <br />this process. <br />I have been a resident of Orono for some five years and <br />during that time have been concerned about our natural <br />habitat and how best to ensure that all citizens share <br />equally in our parks, play areas, and lakeways. I have <br />always been concerned, as well, with balancing the needs of <br />today's citizens with those of future generations. <br />As you can see from my resume, my expertise lies in the <br />field of human behavior; extremely appropriate to park <br />planning. As an administrator and therapist, I have <br />well-honed communication sxills and I am an excellent <br />negotiator. <br />I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to be a member of <br />the Orono Park Commission. 1 await your reply to my <br />application. <br />Respectful 1 y, <br />Curtis A.
