John Hardin (hereinafter "the applicant^) <br />is the owner of the property located at 14 96 Park Drive within <br />the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Lots 4 and 5, Block 14, Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota. Also commer.cing at the southwest corner of Lot <br />4, Block 14, Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota? <br />thence south to the northeast corner of Lot 6, Block 14? <br />thence 54.4' east to the west line of Lot 94, Highwood Lake <br />Minnetonka? thence n'-th to the intersection with the <br />northerly line of Loc 4, Block 14 extended? thence <br />northwesterly to the point of beginning, (hereinafter "the <br />property")? and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for <br />variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 <br />(C) to permit a 167 square foot addition to an accessory <br />structure that would result in an oversized accessory structure <br />of 1,166 square feet where only 1,000 square feet is allowed for <br />this property. The addition also brings the total area of <br />accessory structures 4n the property to 2,055.6 square feet where <br />on3y 2,000 square feet is allowed for a property less than 1.99 <br />acres in area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Orono, Minnesota; <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1489. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family <br />Lakeshore Residential Zoning District requiring 1 acre in <br />area. The property consists of 44,418 square feet or 1.01 <br />acres. <br />3.
