MINUTES or ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 26, 1990 <br />C.O.B.G. YEAR XVI <br />RESOLUTION #2783* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2783, approving the disbursement <br />of C.D.B.G. Year XVI funds as Resolution #2783 sets forth, <br />Motic , Ayes-4, Nays-0, Motion passed. <br />SPRING CLEAN-UP DAYS* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to designate May 5 and May 12, 1990 as ono Spring <br />Clean-up Days. Motion, Ayes-4, Nays-0, Motion passes. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S INFORMATION* <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to accept the City Administrator's Information <br />regarding; Fire Coverage Zones, Well Drilling/Test, Police <br />Officer-Part Time, Police Vehicle Replacement Plan, Beaver <br />Trapping, Planning Commission and Park Commission Appointments, <br />and Orono Interceptor/MWCC. Motion, Ayes-4, Nays-0, Motion <br />passed. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT; <br />City Attorney Barrett indicated that he had no report. <br />LICENSES <br />Councilmember Goetten noted that Lakeview Golf had submitted <br />an application for a license to sell cigarettes from a vending <br />machine. <br />Gerhardson asked if Council would approve the application if <br />that request is an error on behalf of Lakeview Golf and they are <br />asking to sell cigarettes over-the-counter. Councilmember Goetten <br />indicated that she would not object. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to approve the following license(s): <br />Home ( -rcupation Initial Review: Maryanne Ebert <br />1680 North Farm Road <br />Home Occupation Annual Review; Marmet Services <br />130 Cygnet Place <br />Cigarette; Lakeview Golf (as amended) <br />405 North Arm Drive <br />On-Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor; Lakeview Golf <br />405 North Arm Drive <br />Motion, Ayes-4, Nays-0, Motion passed. <br />- 21 -
