Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />DATS:March 22, 1990 <br />SOBJBCT:Spring Clean-up Days - May 5 & May 12, 1990 <br />if The City of Orono Public Works Department is planning spring <br />clean-up days on Saturdays, May 5th and May 12th, 1990 from 8:00 <br />a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <br />The collection point will be behind the long, gold equipment <br />shed at Brown Road South and Spates Avenue in Crystal Bay, next <br />to the Administration Building. <br />The followino items will HOT be accepted: <br />garbage <br />trees <br />brush <br />chemicals <br />truck loads <br />barrels, drums, chemical containers, petrolium products <br />or containers. <br />Leaves and grass will have to be debagged into a large <br />container. We will not accept leaf and grass bags. <br />Appliances will be set aside and will be picked up by an <br />agency that disassembles and recycles appliances. There is a fee <br />to have them picked up, but we are not recommending charging a <br />fee to the residents at this time. <br />This year we have made arrangements for a private company to <br />accept tires for a fee.
