MIHUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OP NOVEMBER 13, 1989 <br />STUBBS BAT SEWER CONTINUED <br />CounciImemfcer Gcertien indicatad that should any rezoning be <br />done, the City shculd rezcne all of the 2-acre zoning areas which <br />have recently been sewered. <br />Goetten also questioned whether the Comprehensive Plan was <br />due to be re/iewed for 1990. <br />Bernhardson replied that he would look into that matter <br />further and report bac.<c. <br />Planning Commission Representative Bellows did not believe <br />it would be beneficial to rezone lakeshore property for the <br />purpose of sewering lakeshore property. <br />Bernhardson said that issue was brought forth by the <br />lakeshore residents. <br />CounciIstember Peterson concurred with Bellows and Goetten <br />that rezoning around the lake would be unwise. Peterson asked <br />whether the Planning Commission would be invited to the upcoming <br />meeting regarding Stubbs Bay sewer. <br />CounciImember Goetten asked City Attorney Barrett if the <br />City could legally ask residents to sign a waiver of a- aal? <br />Barrett replied that the City could proceed in such a <br />manner. <br />Acting Mayor Callahan believed that the next step for the <br />City is to have another meeting and suggested bringing this <br />matter back in December for consideration of a meeting date. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan, seconded by <br />CounciImember Nettles, to bring this matter back for <br />consideration at the December 11, 1989 Council meeting. Motion, <br />Ayes>4, Nays*0, Motion passed. <br />WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES PLAlTNING BOARD <br />RBSOLOTZON *2730 <br />CounciImember Goetten asked whether support from the Cities <br />.would be indicated in the fora of a latter to Hennepin County? <br />Bernhardson said that there was a draft resolution included <br />in the packets of information tnat, if adapted, would be sent to <br />Hennepin County. <br />Counci Imember Goetten indicated that she would like to urge <br />the Council to send a letter to the County in addition to a <br />resolution. <br />Bernhardson said that he could send both a letter and a copy <br />of the resolution. <br />It was moved by CounciImember Nettles, seconded by
