EXHIBIT 3 <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1252 <br />.A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 1252 <br />ESTABLISHING A PARE FUND <br />The City of Orono hereby amends Resolution 1252 to read: <br />WHEREAS, City of Orono Ordinance No. 220 requires the <br />establishment of a separate fund for deposit of all <br />cash contributions received from subdivisions in lieu <br />of conveyance or dedication of land for parks, <br />playgrounds, and other public purposes. <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Park Fund be <br />established and all park dedication fees collected by <br />the City according to the current fee schedule be <br />credited to the Park Fund. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the pcirk dedication fees <br />be used only for the acquisition, development, or <br />maintenance of public parks, playgrounds, trails, open <br />space, surface water holding areas limited only to <br />ponding areas, and debt retirement in connection with <br />lamd previously acquired for such public purposes <br />within the City of Orono. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota <br />at a regular meeting held _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.• <br />Attest:. <br />♦Proposed change is underlined. <br />7034T <br />-6-
