The Council and Park <br />Commission will be reviewing the results of neighborhood surveys <br />and will be working on plans to define future use and desired <br />improvements of these two locations now classified as Natural <br />Areas. The results of these studies may suggest no changes, <br />provision of a small mini-park type local play area, or some <br />more extensive development, although this Plan foresees the <br />major thrust to be natural preservation of both areas. <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PLAY AREAS. The City will continue to identify <br />small, typically tax forfeited parcels, that could be acquired <br />and used for mini-parks and play areas for those urban <br />neighborhoods that do not have such areas within a reasonable <br />walking distance. <br />CMP 8-18
