Date: October 14, 2024 Item: 6 <br />Presenter: Adam Edwards, City Administrator / Engineer <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: Special Event Permit - Crystal Bay Park <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to review the use of Crystal Bay Park. <br />2.License Applicant(s): <br />City code section 66-224(d) requires city council review of special events requesting the use of <br />city land. <br /> <br />Orono Garden Club and ArborGold Tree Service are requesting use of Crystal Bay Park for a free <br />public demonstration event on diagnosing, treating, and pruning flowering crab trees. <br /> <br />Bounce house, refreshments, and tree care vehicles/equipment are available. A food truck will be <br />available with items to purchase.
