<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7515 <br /> <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />And a variance from Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1348 to allow a 6.5-foot <br />separation between the home and the new garage; and a variance from Section 78-1700 to <br />allow 39.3% hardcover where 42.5% exists and 35% is permitted, to allow construction of a new <br />21’ x 23’ detached garage and a new 5’ x 10’ front stoop on the Property subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />C1. Council approval is based on the entire record, above Findings. <br /> <br />C2. The approved project shall conform to the survey dated 07/19/2024 by Engineering, <br />Design, and Surveying and annotated building plans submitted by the Applicant, <br />attached to this Resolution as Exhibits A & B. <br /> <br />C3. The Applicant shall use care during construction so as not to disturb or damage the <br />existing amur maple hedge or drainage swale on the neighbor’s property as much as <br />feasible. <br /> <br />C4. Any amendments to the plans which are not in conformity with City codes may require <br />further Planning Commission and City Council review. <br /> <br />C5. Authorities granted by this resolution run with the Property not with the Applicants, but <br />are permissive only and must be exercised by obtaining a building permit for the new <br />construction and commencing construction of said project. A building permit must be <br />obtained within one year of the date of Council approval, or the variance will expire on <br />that date (October 14, 2025). <br /> <br />C6.
