TO 8:11 P.H. 4T4_-The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate Mailing were <br />duly noted. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Pemberton were present for this matter. <br />explained %^he”pe^irtoi"s^ plopos^" to^con-i^^^^^ an existing grade <br />level deck into an addition to their dining room. <br />Chairman Kelley asked whether the Pemberton’s had received <br />any input from their neighbor to the south? <br />Mr. Pemberton said that he had spoken to his neighbors on <br />both sides and they had no objection. <br />Planning Commissioner Brown asked if there was existing <br />hardcover that could be removed? <br />There were no comments from the public regarding this matter <br />and the public hearing was closed. <br />Planning Commisu-oner Brown reminded Mr. Pemberton that <br />during thei"/recent visit he had indicated that he would be <br />removing hardcover from the back of the house. <br />Gaffron said that staff prefers to have the plastic removed, <br />since hole punching is nearly impossible to verify. <br />It was moved by Planning Commissioner Hanson, seconded by <br />Planning commissioner Cohen, to recommend approval of this <br />application provided that the plastic <br />the northeast corner of the property is removed. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Bellows and Kelley, Nay, due to their preference to see hardcover <br />removed rather than converted into permanent: structure. Motion <br />passed. <br />1
