A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING <br /> OFFICER WILLIAM "BILL" PERSELL <br /> FOR HIS <br /> SIXTEEN YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br /> TO THE CITY OF ORONO AS POLICE OFFICER <br /> RESOLUTION N0.6 0 0 9 <br /> WHEREAS, William "Bill" Persell was appointed to the position of Part- <br /> Time Police Officer on November 11, 1994; and <br /> WHEREAS, his sixteen years of service as Police Officer have been <br /> characterized by exemplaxy dedication to providing the highest quality police <br /> service to the city and its citizens; and <br /> WHEREAS, he has served the community in a fair, respectful, honest, <br /> trustworthy, and selfless manner; and <br /> WHEREAS, William "Bill" Persell is retiring from his position as Police <br /> Officer effective November 18, 2010. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council <br /> does hereby recognize and commend William "Bill" Persell for his dedicated <br /> service to the community as Police Officer. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br /> hereby congratulate William "Bill" Persell on his retirement, and extends its best <br /> wishes for a long,happy and healthy retirement. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br /> held this 13th day of December, 2010. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ��-7t�.
