� o� <br /> ;� �� o 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> ,� ,. � <br /> ti <br /> �'�� �G~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> `�kEsKog' No. 6 0 1 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 3745 SHORELINE DRIVE <br /> FILE NO. 10-3493 <br /> WHEREAS, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, (hereinafter the "Applicant") is <br /> the owner of property located at 3745 Shoreline Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter the <br /> "City") and legally described as Lot 5, Block 7, Townsite of Langdon Park, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota(hereinafter "the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br /> under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> , <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Sta.te Statutes 412 et. seq. and 462 et. seq., the City <br /> Council of the City of Orono has adopted zoning regulation for the protection of the public <br /> health, safety and general welfare; and <br /> WI3EREAS, the Property contains an existing church and is located in the LR-1C <br /> one family lakeshore residential district. A church is an allowed use within residential districts <br /> by conditional use permit; and <br /> WHEREAS, the church on the Property has an existing conditional use permit; <br /> and <br /> WI3EREAS,on November 4, 2010, the Applicant made an application requesting <br /> a conditional use permit for a columbaria garden pursuant to City Code section 78-348(19); and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes 462.3595 et. seq. and the City of Orono Zoning Codes, on November 22, 2010, the <br /> Orono City Council held a public hearing for the application at which time all persons desiring to <br /> be heard concerni.ng the application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono City Council makes the following findings in regard to <br /> this application for a conditional use permit for a columbaria garden: <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
