Date: September 23, 2024 Item: 9 <br />Presenter: DJ Goman, Public Works Superintendent <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: Pavement Maintenance - Crack Sealing <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to gain Council approval for the 2024 Streets Maintenance Crack Sealing <br />project. <br />2.Background: <br />Crack sealing is a routine preventive road maintenance process. <br />3.Scope: <br />The identified streets shall have their cracks and routed, cleaned and sealed. Spot sealing will be required on <br />areas with a concentration of small cracks. <br /> <br />4.Cost: <br />Public Works received quotes from 2 contractors for crack sealing. A summary of the quotes received are <br />listed in the table below.
