� o� <br /> � o 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> � � <br /> ti <br /> ��� �G~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 9kEsi;�g' No. 6 0 5 6 <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-420(B) <br /> FILE NO. 11-3507 <br /> WHEREAS, William Pocock Bowman and Cynthia Joan Bowman, a mamed <br /> couple (hereinafter"the Applicants") are the owners of the property located at 450 Willow Drive <br /> South within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as The East 202.86 <br /> feet of the West 279.32 feet of the South 115.50 feet of the North Quarter of the Northwest <br /> Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 117, Range 23, West of the 5�' <br /> Principal Meridian, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br /> � <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-420 (B) to allow construction of an <br /> addition to the existing home set back 25 feet from the south side lot line where 30-foot side yard <br /> setback is normally required and a 27.8 foot setback currently exists; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission and <br /> Orono City Council held a public hearing on June 20, 2011 at which times all persons desiring to <br /> be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 11-3507. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B One Family Rural Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 2.0 acres and a minimum lot width <br /> of 200'. <br /> � <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
