Bernhardson, City Administrator <br />Dorothy Hallin, City Clerk <br />February 23, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Employment - Secretary <br />ISSUE - Filling the secretary position. <br />INTRODUCTION - The City received 50 applicants for the secretary <br />position. After an initial separate review by Teri Naab and <br />myself 17 were selected. These 17 applications were again <br />reviewed independently by Teri and myself. From this group 7 <br />candidates were selected for a personal interview and from these <br />2 or 3 would be selected for an interview with the City <br />Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION - After making the final selection 2 persons were <br />interviewed by you. At the present time no final selection has <br />been made and I would like to request that the Council authorize <br />hiring a person to fill the secretary position and this item will <br />be brought back to the 3/12/90 Council meeting for final <br />approval. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, to authorize <br />hiring a person to fill the secretary position and this item will <br />be brought back to the March 12, 1990 Council meeting for final <br />approval.
