Bernhardson, City Administrator <br />February 5, 1990 <br />' l:. 1:3 <br />; I 4 ‘ ' *'• 5 . <br />SUBJECT: Administrator's Information <br />CITY LOGO - Attached please find the draft official entry blank. <br />It is anticipated that we will be running copies sometime later <br />this week. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN EXTENSION - The City of Orono is one of 28 <br />unTts in the Metro area who have been given extensions regarding <br />responses to the system changes for transportation and sewer. <br />Staff is meeting this following week to determine what, if any, <br />significant changes need to be made, they will be summarized for <br />the February 26th meeting. <br />1990 BOARD OF REVIEW - Just a reminder that the Board of Review <br />will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 1990 at 7:00 P.M. in the <br />Council Chambers. <br />TREE TRIMMING - CORNER OLD BEACH ROAD/SHORELINE DRIVE - You may- - - - - - - - - ' thl TT-T - - - - - -,have noticed or have had comments on tne amount o£ tree removal <br />done at the corner. This is within the City of Minnetonka Beach <br />but from our understanding has been done by the land owner to <br />allow for better growth of the trees that remain. <br />TELEPHONE SYSTEM INSTALLATION - It is anticipated that the system <br />changeover and installation will be Wednesday, February 14, 1990. <br />DARE - The first two weeks of the program have been completed and <br />the Teachers have gained more confidence in allowing someone else <br />to be in charge of teaching their class. Staff will continue to <br />update you as the pilot project continues. <br />GOLF DOME - At the Council's meeting on Tuesday, Februar’- 6th the <br />Long Lake Council approved the golf dome. <br />PART TIME POLICE OFFICER - Lt. Cheswick has interviewed 8 <br />candidates. An oral board will interview 4 on the 14th and a <br />recommendation will be presented at your February 26th meeting. <br />DECEMBER RECEIPTS AND DISBURSEMENTS - See attached. <br />GOAL SETTING - See attachment. <br />1
