Kuehn, Finance Director <br />DATE: February 6, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Insurance Agent of Record <br />fUO.'if'i, WtRliNG <br />FtD 12 \930 <br />l <br />The City of Orono Agent of Record Agreement with Mr, Duweyne <br />Carlson of the Apple Valley Agency needs to be updated and signed <br />for policy year 1990. We were very satisfied with Mr. Carlson as <br />he continued his high level of service to the City during 1989. <br />The fee for service requested for 1990 is $6,500 which is the <br />same as in 1989 and is included in the 1990 insurance budgets. <br />The agent fee is reduced by commissions earned through the policy <br />premiums paid by the City. For example the fee for service in <br />1989 was $6,500.00 but after applying the commissions the City's <br />direct cost was $1,842.25. I have attached a copy of the <br />Agreement for Agent of Record for 1990. <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Mark E.
