As of this writing* the applicant has n.^t <br />contacted the City to discuss the application. <br />Site inspection today by the Building Inspector found that while <br />construction has not continued* applicants are using the unfinished <br />garage for vehicle and property storage. <br />Absent any contact from the applicant* the staff would request <br />Council direction as to a date certain by which applicant must present <br />a revised proposal or have the offeading structure/hardcover removed. <br />Staff BecesBendation <br />Staff recommends that if no revised proposal is forthcoming by <br />January 1, 1992* the Council will take action to formally deny the <br />after-the-’fact variance request and direct staff to pursue legal <br />action to remove the offending structure/hardcover. <br />ft- <br />II <br />. <br />Lr’v <br />-J-
