Staff will <br />send letters to them to determine their interest in serving an <br />additional term. <br />Guidelines for commission appointments indicate advertisements <br />should be placed in the official newspaper, it may work better <br />to delay the advertisement until the Council determines whether a <br />vacancy will in fact be created by a current member going off a <br />commission. Otherwise interested residents could apply only to <br />find that the current members were all reappointed.
