Mitchell <br />Memo and Exhibits of 10/16/91 <br />Discoselon <br />Council referred this item to Planning Commission for review. <br />Prior to the Planning Commission review, applicants revised the garage <br />and house plan and orientation such that the square footage of <br />encroachment past the 30* setback line was equivalent to that approved <br />for Traff. <br />Flaanlag Oemmission Recommendation <br />At their October meeting, the Planning Commission voted 4 in <br />favor, 2 against to recommend approval of the revised proposal as <br />noted above. The minority opinion of the Planning Commission was that <br />since the development of this lot would be starting from scratch, no <br />setback variances should be granted. The majority however felt that <br />the revised plan is actually an Improvement over the originally <br />approved Traff site plan and were comfortable with the revision. <br />Staff ■ei’inmmsndstion <br />A resolution reflecting the recommendation is attached for <br />Council review.
