The approved addition
was for a squash court and two-stall garage.
Applicants subsequently requested a permit for the squash
court and a carport with a slightly different footprint than the
approved garage. They were advised by staff that the carport was
so significant a deviation from the approved plan that it would
require Council review. Applicants then dropped the carport from
their permit request and were issued a permit merely for the
squash court. Construction of that addition is underway.
Applicants are now requesting Council approval of the
revised site plan in order to obtain a permit for the carport.
The two-car attached garage approved in Resolution #2961 was
approximately 26* x 33* or 858 s.f. which included an enclosed
stairway system. The actual squash court addition for which a
permit was issued included an interior stairway, hence the
dimensions of the carport within the posts is approximately 25* x
28* or 700 s.f.
Overall, the carport appears to be a less intense addition
than the originally proposed garage. The ca**port is offset
approximately 6* northward of the original site plan, and reduces
the side setback fr^i 254' to 250*.
ITtfin41 jit iiw
