Moorse, City Administrator <br />Tom Kuehn, Finance Director'7^^' <br />October 10, 1991 <br />SUBJECT: Additional Deferred Compensation Plan - Resolution <br />Attachment A; Resolution Adding the USCM Deferred Compensation <br />Program <br />ISSUE - Request for authorization to add the USCM Deferred <br />Compensation Program. <br />DISCUSSION - We have received an employee request to include the <br />deferred compensation program established by the U.S. Conference <br />of Mayors (USCM) with those programs already authorized for <br />deferred compensation for Orono City employees. <br />The USCM program provides up to 13 different fixed and variable <br />investment choices. The variable option consists of up to 9 <br />different common stock funds, 2 bond funds and one money-market <br />fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that Council authorize the <br />addition of the USCM deferred compensation program for all city <br />employees. <br />seconded by to adoptPROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, _ <br />resolution # authorizing the addition of the U.S. Conference <br />of Mayors Deferred Compensation Pr.^-jram to the City of Oorno <br />Deferred Compensation Plan.
